ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), an Atlanta-based third-party hotel operator and investor, today announced that the company has expanded its executive team with the promotion of Cory Chambers to executive vice president, chief commercial and analytics officer, and its leadership team by promoting Maggie Rosa to vice president of operations. In their respective new roles, Chambers will work with the team to build and drive cross-functional strategies to better serve hotel general managers, their teams and hotel owners, and Rosa will spearhead the operational performance of a portfolio of full-service and select-brand hotels while fostering relationships with owners. Chambers also will continue to lead the HVMG Revenue Excellence team in maximizing market share growth and leading the team to deliver revenue strategies, systems and processes to above-property operations team members, hotel teams and hotel owners.
Cory Chambers, Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial and Analytics Officer
“Cory’s promotion is not only recognition for his achievements in designing and delivering a best-in-class revenue organization, but also his direct contributions over the years with HVMG strategic initiatives,” said Robert Cole, president and CEO, HVMG. “Having joined HVMG more than a decade ago, Cory has proven his ability to develop and deploy tools, processes and strategies that drive excellent revenue results. Under Cory’s leadership, HVMG has experienced five consecutive years and nine of the past ten years of same-store, portfolio-wide, year-over-year market share growth. Cory has attracted and developed some of the best revenue talent in our industry and has earned the trust and respect of our owners and brand partners. He has been a contributor, mentor and leader throughout our organization. I am incredibly appreciative of his can-do attitude, his tenacity and how he has made us a better company.”
A 25-plus year hospitality veteran, Chambers previously worked with White Lodging, culminating in vice president of revenue generation where he oversaw sales, revenue management, eCommerce and communications for the company’s full-service portfolio. His previous roles with White Lodging include corporate director of sales and marketing and pre-opening director of sales and marketing at the JW Marriott Indianapolis. He began his career with Marriott International where he held several sales and marketing leadership positions throughout the United States at hotels ranging in size from 300 to 1,300 rooms. He actively serves on multiple industry and brand advisory boards with Hilton, IHG, Marriott, AHLA and HSMAI. Chambers graduated from James Madison University with a BBA in marketing and received his MBA from Babson College in Boston, Mass.

“Maggie has been an integral part of the success of numerous HVMG hotels, successfully leading the Hilton Houston Galleria, Hyatt Regency Houston North and Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center to some of their highest performing years,” Cole added. “In her myriad of roles, Maggie wore many hats, doing everything from overseeing multi-million dollar renovations to delivering major increases to guest satisfaction scores, RevPAR and GDP results. We look forward to Maggie’s continued leadership overseeing our portfolio of hotels as she continues to excel in optimizing performance, fostering strong relationships and improving guest and associate satisfaction.”
With two and a half decades of operations experience, Rosa began her hospitality career with Marriott International, originally serving as operations department head of the Marina Del Rey Marriott. She has held numerous operational positions through the years, including assistant general manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Greenway Plaza and general manager of the C.
