EVANSVILLE, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Metronet, PCMag’s fastest major ISP, announced today its plans for a multimillion-dollar investment to construct a fiber-optic internet network in Kent, Ohio. Metronet’s investment will deliver 100% fiber-optic internet technology directly to more Ohio households and businesses and connect the city of Kent to ultra-high-speed service of up to five gigabits per second for residents and ten gigabits per second for businesses.

Residents will receive communication by mail about construction activity in their neighborhood 30 days prior to the start date.
