Media Advisory: FHLB Dallas to Award $283K in Grants to Eight DFW Nonprofits

IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas), along with eight of its member financial institutions, will award $283,000 in 2024 Partnership Grant Program (PGP) funding to eight Dallas-Fort Worth-area nonprofits during a check presentation and media event on Thursday, November 21.

The following nonprofits received grants:

BH365 Education Foundation, Dallas: $9,000
Ferguson Road Initiative, Dallas: $30,000
Renaissance Heights Foundation, Fort Worth: $30,000
South Dallas Fair Park Innercity Community Development Corp. (CDC), Dallas: $64,000
SP 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Dallas: $30,000
Stars United Global Outreach, Grand Prairie: $30,000
Youth Village Resources of Dallas dba Youth With Faces, Dallas: $30,000
Zan Wesley Holmes, Jr. Community Outreach Center, Dallas: $60,000

The PGP offers up to a 5:1 match of member contributions — up to $25,000 per FHLB Dallas member — to support community-based organizations (CBOs) involved in affordable housing or economic development activities that complement other FHLB Dallas community investment programs. The program is funded on an annual basis, and funds are distributed through participating FHLB Dallas members.
