CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Veterans Day is upon us and Whistle Express is proud to continue its ongoing partnership with Children of Fallen Patriots (CFP), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. In honor of those brave sacrifices made by our nation's heroes, Whistle Express donated $3,000 to support the invaluable work of CFP.
The brand gathered to present the check to CFP representatives at a local Whistle Express in Charlotte. Photos and videos from the check presentation are linked here, with videos of remarks from CFP and Whistle Express representatives.
Whistle Express is also showing its support and expressing its gratitude to the entire military community by offering free top-tier (BEST or Diamond Plus) car washes to all veterans and active military personnel on Veterans Day. Anyone with a valid military ID can participate in the promotion at any Whistle Express location across the brand’s more than 150 location footprint on Monday, Nov. 11.
Beginning on Nov. 11, the car wash chain will now also offer military discounts, 15% off on any single wash or membership purchase for all active and retired military – year-round and across all locations – because heroes should be recognized and honored every day. To receive the discount, visit your local Whistle Express Car Wash with a valid military ID.
"At Whistle Express, we are deeply committed to giving back to those who have given so much for our country," said Jose Costa, CEO of Whistle Express. "Partnering with Children of Fallen Patriots allows us to support the families of our fallen heroes while also honoring all veterans and active military personnel with a token of appreciation on Veterans Day. It's our way of saying thank you for their service and sacrifice."
"Children of Fallen Patriots continues to bridge the financial gap for Gold Star children pursuing higher education. Because of the support I received from Fallen Patriots, I was able to thrive during my Undergraduate experience," shared Julia Finken, Gold Star daughter of LTC Paul Finken and CFP staff member. "It's donors like Whistle Express who help make our mission possible. Every day I spend working at Fallen Patriots is another day I know I'm making a difference; I think that's something my Dad would be proud of."
Whistle Express encourages everyone to take a moment to reflect and thank their local heroes this Veterans Day. The car wash looks forward to welcoming the military community to its washes for their free wash on Monday, Nov. 11.
