IRVINE, Calif.--()--YogaSix, the nation’s largest franchised yoga brand, is honored to announce the continuation of its partnership with Veterans Yoga Project (VYP) for the third consecutive year and celebrate Veterans Gratitude Week. From November 8 to 17, select YogaSix studios will host donation-based yoga classes to support VYP’s mission of aiding recovery and resilience among veterans, active military personnel, and their families.

Veterans Yoga Project provides resources and community-based programs across all 50 states designed to support mental and physical well-being for those who have served in the United States military and their families. Veterans participating in VYP have reported reduced pain and distress, improved sleep, and better management of symptoms related to PTS(D) through consistent yoga practice. YogaSix is proud to support this impactful work by inviting communities across the country to participate in donation-based classes that give back to America’s heroes.

"Veterans are heroes who sacrifice everything to protect the nation and families they love. Honoring, serving, and remembering Veterans must be a nation’s top priority. For without such heroes, the nation would not exist. We are honored to invite Veterans into our YogaSix studios this year and every year to feel the positive impact of yoga and the communities that our studios create," said Tim Brown, a retired U.S. Navy Chief Operations Specialist and a YogaSix multi-unit Franchise Owner, including locations in Holly Springs, North Myrtle Beach, and BridgeMill.

YogaSix has become a leading force in making the ancient practice accessible and inclusive in a modern setting. Guided by highly trained instructors, each donation-based class offered during Veterans Gratitude Week will welcome participants of all fitness levels to experience the unique mind-body benefits that yoga provides. YogaSix’s diverse class lineup, including Y6 Hot, Y6 101, Y6 Restore, Y6 Power, Y6 Sculpt & Flow, Y6 TRX, Y6 Slow Flow and Y6 Mix guarantees an option suited to every person’s needs and wellness goals.

“We believe in the transformative power of yoga to heal and restore,” said Lindsay Junk, President of YogaSix. “Through our partnership with Veterans Yoga Project, we’re offering veterans and their families a path toward wellness and resilience. This is a profound opportunity for our YogaSix community to honor those who have served by helping to make a positive difference in their lives.”

Dr. Daniel Libby, a clinical psychologist and the Founder and CEO of Veterans Yoga Project, noted the profound impact that yoga can have on veterans dealing with stress and trauma. “Yoga and mindfulness practices are invaluable tools for veterans struggling with PTS(D) and other challenges. We’re deeply grateful to YogaSix for their support in bringing these resources to those who need them most.”
