HAMILTON, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ms. Shirley Speakman, Executive Chair of the Board of Directors of Fibracast Ltd. (“Fibracast” or the “Company”), a leading developer and manufacturer of innovative membrane technologies for advanced water and wastewater treatment, is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members of the Company’s Board of Directors: Glen Daigger; and Charles Firlotte.
Dr. Daigger and Mr. Firlotte bring years of experience and leadership in the industrial, commercial, and academic sectors to Fibracast’s Board.
Glen Daigger is Professor of Engineering Practice at the University of Michigan and is also President and Founder of One Water Solutions, LLC, a water engineering and innovation firm. Combining academic excellence with technological innovation, he has devoted his career to the preservation of water resources. Dr. Daigger previously served as senior vice president and chief technology officer for CH2M, where he was employed for over three decades. He also previously served as Professor and Chair of Environmental Systems Engineering at Clemson University. He is the author of over 200 technical papers, five books and several technical manuals.

Charles Firlotte is the Principal of Laurent Maxime Enterprises, a management consulting firm. As Principal of Laurent Maxime Enterprises, he focuses on helping mid-market and larger companies achieve greater levels of efficiency and growth. He is the former president and chief executive officer of Aquarion Company, a regulated water utility serving three states in the northeastern US, and he is a former Chair of the Board of NB Power, the electric utility serving the Province of New Brunswick, Canada. He also serves on the Board, and is a past Chief Executive Officer, of HAB Group, a property development company in Turks and Caicos, British West Indies.
