--(BUSINESS WIRE)--UnitedHealthcare has announced a significant expansion of its Individual & Family Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace plans, now offering coverage in 30 states. This increase includes new coverage areas in Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska and Wyoming, as well as additional counties in 13 other states.
With the inclusion of these new coverage areas, UnitedHealthcare now provides Individual & Family ACA Marketplace plans in over 1,250 counties across the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
Individuals and families can enroll in these plans during the open enrollment period from Nov. 1, 2024, through Jan. 15, 2025, by visiting uhc.com/exchange.

In 2024, 90% of UnitedHealthcare's Individual & Family ACA Marketplace plan members received subsidies to help reduce their health insurance premiums, and over half of its ACA Marketplace plan members pay $0 in monthly premiums in 2024.
Individual & Family ACA Marketplace plans play a key role in expanding health care coverage by offering a variety of options to people who don’t have access to either employer-funded coverage, Medicare, Medicaid or the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
