Luskin Orthopaedic Institute for Children Celebrates the 3rd Annual "Ozzie’s Spooktacular" Halloween Event for Patients and Families

LOS ANGELES--()--Luskin Orthopaedic Institute for Children (LuskinOIC) is excited to announce the 3rd Annual “Ozzie’s Spooktacular,” a Halloween celebration designed to bring joy and festivity to patients, their families, and the surrounding community. This year’s event promises an evening filled with Halloween-themed activities, treats, and entertainment for all ages.

Named after LuskinOIC’s beloved mascot, Ozzie, “Ozzie’s Spooktacular” is set to take place on Thursday, October 30, starting at 5:00 PM at the Luskin Orthopaedic Institute for Children’s campus in Los Angeles. Guests will experience a wide range of family-friendly activities, including a Haunted Maze, Dia De Los Muertos Activity Station, Pumpkin Decorating, and even a 360-degree Photo Booth for capturing festive memories.

Event Highlights:

  • 5:00 PM – Event Kickoff with Activities: DJ, Trunk or Treat, Haunted Maze, Pumpkin Decorating, Games, and Food Trucks by Savage Tacos and LA’s Crepes.
  • 6:30 PM – Costume Contest and Trunk or Treat for kids and families.
  • 7:00 PM – Grand Finale Performance by celebrated magician, Jerry Langford.

In addition to welcoming over 550 guests and 70 volunteers, LuskinOIC is proud to partner with the LA Ghostbusters, as well as students from Orthopaedic Medical Magnet High School and St. Vincent Elementary School. This community event is made possible by generous support from Starlight Children’s Foundation, the LA Ghostbusters, and LuskinOIC support groups: the Charitable Children’s Guild, Las Madrecitas, and Las Amigas.

"Ozzie’s Spooktacular" serves as an opportunity for LuskinOIC to give back to the children and families we serve, especially those who face significant health challenges," said LuskinOIC Director of Community and Corporate Outreach Michael Willis. “We are excited to bring a memorable Halloween celebration to these children and to share the holiday spirit with our entire community.”
