Mayor Stephens to Open Fair With Highlights Including the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile and Star Wars Character Lunch

Kick off the holiday season at The Chicago Toy and Game Fair!

• The Chicago Toy and Game Fair (ChiTAG) is the largest toy and game fair open to the public in North America! Attendees will experience immersive events, interactive exhibits, and activities for all ages!

• November 9^th marks the 19^th annual Young Inventor Challenge for children ages 6 to 18 to develop and pitch their original inventions to toy/company executives. Many of the winning inventions have been licensed by these companies and can be found on store shelves!

• Tickets are on sale via Eventbrite! Adults $12 each; Kids $6 each.

-- Rosemont’s Mayor Bradley Stephens, will cut the official Fair ribbon at 10:00 AM on November 9^th with the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana!

-- Check out the latest toys from Chicago manufacturers including TOMY, Baby Paper, Gray Matters Games, Pickle Everything Games, Smart Toys and Games, Stuff ‘n Tuddles, and AR Puzzle Toys.

--The Oscar Mayer Weinermobile will be there – great photo opp! Did you know: The Weinermobile is 27’ long and 11’ high!

-- Take photos with your favorite Star Wars character with the 501^st Legion Vader’s Fist! Plus – the fan favorite Star Wars Character Lunch is on November 10^th from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Tickets can be purchased online.

-- Bop It inventor will sign your Bop It, and play his newest Sling It Game!

-- Scouting America will showcase 40’ Pinewood Derby Racetrack, you can build-your-own car!
