Five Star Parks To Debut Massive Renovation of its Scene75 Chicagoland Entertainment Center

Chicagoland’s premiere indoor family entertainment destination debuts array of new attractions this fall

ROMEOVILLE, Ill.--()--Five Star Parks, the largest owner and operator of family entertainment centers in America, is excited to debut an array of new attractions at its freshly renovated Scene75 Chicagoland location.

The renovation, which began early this year, includes a brand new, 15,000 sq. ft., Slide Zone entertainment complex featuring three mega-slides: Turbo Racer, a four-lane adrenaline rush that allows you to race four at a time for the ultimate competition, Half Pipe, that allows you to race down a steep drop into an actual half pipe, and Mega-Launch, a steep sliding experience that combines exhilarating speed with airtime.

Other features include a lightning zip rail and a basketball air court, ideal for both solo play and team competitions that offers a safe, bouncy surface for slam dunks and endless fun. There’s also a dodgeball air court that features an inflatable arena making every match more dynamic and exciting. With bouncy floors, players can leap to avoid being hit or launch themselves to make the perfect throw.

In addition, there will also be a 5,000 sq. ft., three-tiered, soft play structure for younger children called “Play Scene” that will be located near the slide area. The multi-level structure is designed for climbing and playing and will have an inflatable component.

Michael Dugal, General Manager of Chicagoland, said guests are welcome to come in and enjoy any of the new attractions together or separately, simply by adding what they want to their play card.

“We wanted to offer new things for kids of all ages to enjoy,” Dugal said. “We want them to feel like they can play and explore and have a really memorable experience.”

Scene 75 Chicagoland, which is 135,000 sq. ft., is the biggest indoor park in Illinois. John Dunlap, CEO of Five Star Parks, said the $500,000 renovation will appeal to an even wider audience and compliment the entertainment center’s other popular attractions including an arcade, laser tag, Tsunami roller coaster, drop tower, mini-golf courses, bumper cars, Vault Laser Maze, and more.

“We have been anxiously awaiting the completion of this entertainment complex and other renovations for a while and are so excited to debut it this summer,” said John Dunlap, CEO of Five Star Parks. “This is such an amazing way to have fun and stay active this season we really can’t wait for guests to come check it out with their friends and families.”

We would like to extend you a complimentary invitation to come check out the new Scene75 Chicagoland attractions during Media Week, Dec. 9-13, anytime from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Please let us know if you can attend and if you would like to bring a guest.
