SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PFU America, Inc., the U.S.-based subsidiary of PFU Limited and a Ricoh Group company, today announced the latest addition to its advanced laser projector lineup: the RICOH PJ UHL3660 (“UHL3660”), one of the brightest ultra short throw projectors on the market today. Renowned for their expertise in projection lens technology, Ricoh’s lenses are the preferred choice of top projector manufacturers worldwide. The new UHL3660 leverages Ricoh's patented Ultra Short Throw lens technology to deliver high-quality, color-rich 4K images from just centimeters away.
Supporting screen sizes from 85 to 160 inches, the UHL3660 is ideal for a wide range of environments, including medium-to-large conference rooms, high-end boardrooms, museums, digital signage, immersive exhibits, live entertainment spaces, and more. With an ultra short throw ratio of 0.24, it can project an 85-inch image from just one centimeter away allowing for discreet placement in any setting.
The UHL3660 delivers 6,500 lumens of brightness, ensuring crisp, clear images even in well-lit settings. The projector features a 4K UHD resolution, achieved through 4-way pixel shift technology, allowing for exceptional detail and clarity. Additionally, its HDR mode improves the contrast of HDR-compatible content, delivering visuals with even more realism.
The UHL3660 also features OptiBright* technology, which maximizes light efficiency and brightness while maintaining low power consumption. This innovative technology not only enhances performance, but also can extend the projector’s lifespan with a rated usage of up to 40,000 hours.
Other key features and benefits of the UHL3660 include:
- Flexible installation: Its 360-degree mounting and portrait projection allow for versatile mounting options at any angle and its multi-image blending allows you to project larger, seamless displays using two units.
- Unrestricted connectivity: The projector offers both HDMI 2.0 and HDBaseT connectivity as well as Miracast compatibility for wireless projection with Windows and Android devices.
- Wide ranging keystone and geometric corrections: Includes H/V Keystone, Four corners, Six Points as well as preset image modes such as Bright, Standard, Natural, Vivid, and DICOM Sim. It also offers advanced image modes like Wall Color Mode, High Contrast Mode, HDR Mode, and NCE Setting Adjustments.
- Long-term durability and reliability: UHL3660 is dust-proof equivalent to IP6X, eliminating the need for filter changes and comes with an advanced cooling system allowing it to be operated in temperatures of up to 113° F.
