TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, JOEY Restaurants proudly announces the grand opening of its 34th location on Toronto’s iconic King Street, in the vibrant financial district. Opening to the public on November 14 at 4PM, this flagship venue is the largest JOEY in North America, spanning 19,000 sq ft in the historical Royal Bank building. With its creative culinary concepts, premium menu options, elegant private dining spaces, and a thoughtfully curated art collection, the Toronto location promises to redefine the dining experience with exclusive offerings.

Designed to be grand, timeless, and memorable, the restaurant boasts a stunning column-free space with 100 feet of glazed frontage, 30-foot ceilings, and seating for over 550 guests. It features a 100-seat patio with an operable roof and lush landscaping overlooking King Street. A bronze portal from the exterior leads to a space with a feature wine wall, central bar and lounge, and 17-foot-tall olive trees. The dining area offers flexible seating and large spaces for private events, with double height bronze mesh curtains for privacy, and retractable glass walls and TVs. A rich material palette of leather, walnut, ash, and bronze, creates a refined and inviting ambiance. Guests will find commissioned art pieces from North American artists such as Greg Miller, Drew Young and Valerie Capewell. The restaurant also boasts a pickup hub with a separate entrance to accommodate takeout and delivery.
JOEY King Street offers a unique culinary journey and exceptional mixology, led by an award-winning team, including Executive Chef Matthew Stowe, a Top Chef Canada winner, Bar Development Leader Jay Jones, a BC Restaurant Hall of Fame inductee, and Group Sommelier Jason Yamasaki, winner of BC’s Best Sommelier.
