NowThis Announces Advisory Board to Further Support Company’s Pivot Towards Gen Z Audience

The appointment of six key tastemakers – Alyah Chanelle Scott, Anushka Joshi, Emmy Liederman, Griffin Maxwell Brooks, Karan Jerath, and Shaina Zafar – to the Advisory Board underscores the company’s new direction

NEW YORK--()--Today, NowThis has announced the launch of its inaugural NowThis Advisory Board, a collective of movers and shakers that will support the platform’s efforts to refocus their content. The NowThis Advisory Board aims to bring in diverse viewpoints and representation so that the views of their audience are immediately implemented into programming. By tapping directly into this brain trust, NowThis is able to continuously cater to what their audiences want to hear and see, creating content they are moved and excited by.

This announcement comes on the heels of Michael Vito Valentino’s appointment as Editor-in-Chief of NowThis. Each carefully selected board member will be working alongside Michael and the NowThis editorial team to ensure representation for all communities and providing creative and strategic counsel, as well as temperature checks on current trends, allowing NowThis to tap directly into their desired audience. As NowThis aims to become the premiere destination for Gen Z-oriented content, the NowThis Advisory Board is bringing these like minded entrepreneurs, executives, and innovative powerhouses on board to continue disrupting and reshaping social entertainment.

The NowThis Advisory Board has their fingers on the pulse of a generation,” said Valentino. “I am thrilled to be working alongside this group of accomplished trailblazers to underscore our mission. As a brand and platform, we want to make sure that we are listening to the people that will take NowThis into the next decade and beyond – our amazing followers and viewers – and the Advisory Board will be at the forefront of that effort.”
