NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Church Pension Group (CPG), a financial services organization that serves The Episcopal Church, today announced the appointment of Julian Chung as Executive Vice President to succeed Nancy Sanborn as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary upon Nancy’s retirement on December 31, 2024.
Ms. Chung will be responsible for developing legal strategy, managing legal risk, and overseeing the delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish CPG’s corporate goals, strategies, and priorities. She will serve on CPG’s Executive Leadership Team and as the corporate secretary for all CPG companies, reporting directly to CPG’s Chief Executive Officer and President, Mary Kate Wold.

Ms. Chung is the former General Counsel and Head of Compliance at Enveritas, Inc. Before this, she served as General Counsel at Turnberry Associates and was a Partner at the law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP. She previously held various legal roles at other law firms, advising clients on complex financings and other commercial transactions as well as regulatory matters. She was named one of the top lawyers under the age of 45 by The American Lawyer and has been recognized as an Alumni Honoree by Cardozo Law School’s Black, Asian, Latino Law Students Association. She received her JD, cum laude, from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and her BA from New York University.
