INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Project Lead The Way (PLTW), a leading national nonprofit dedicated to empowering PreK-12 students with a STEM-focused curriculum, announced today the appointment of Dr. Jason Bailey as Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff and John Williams as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Customer Officer.
As EVP and Chief of Staff, Bailey will serve as a strategic partner throughout the organization supporting key stakeholders, leading special projects, and enhancing market intelligence to address changes impacting students, teachers and administrators – ultimately expanding PLTW’s reach and providing additional capacity to meet the organization’s goals aligned to its strategic direction.
Bailey brings three decades of experience in the education space to PLTW. His previous experience includes various classroom and administrative roles in the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation in Indiana, a Senior eLearning Strategist for the Indiana Department of Education, and Director of Community Engagement and Resource Development for the State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA). Bailey holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Indiana State University, a Master of Education and an Administrative License from the University of Southern Indiana, and a Bachelor of Science, English Education, Speech/Communication and Theatre from Ball State University. He also is a graduate of Brown University’s Urban School Leadership Institute.
In the EVP and Chief Customer Officer role, Williams will spearhead PLTW’s sales, marketing, communications, and customer success initiatives. His leadership will be instrumental in enhancing the customer experience and driving student engagement, all while supporting the organization’s mission to equip students with essential skills for their future careers.
Williams joins PLTW with more than three decades of experience in the educational technology sector. He previously served as Chief Revenue Officer at TORSH, where he led all customer-facing operations. His career also includes key leadership roles at Follett School Solutions, IBM, Lightspan, and Educational Testing Services (ETS), where he was instrumental in driving business growth and customer satisfaction. Williams holds an MBA from Temple University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Bethune Cookman University.
