OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Federman & Sherwood investigates Loring, Wolcott & Coolidge (“LWC”) for data breach. On October 18, 2024, LWC filed notice of a data breach with the Attorney General of Maine. LWC experienced a cybersecurity incident involving their network between April 26, 2024, and May 12, 2024. LWC immediately launched an investigation into the incident. After a thorough review of the information gathered during the investigation, it was determined that certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information was exposed and/or acquired.
The type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Full Name
- Social Security Number
- Driver’s License Number
- Address
- Bank Account Number
- Username/Email Address and Password
- Health/Medical Insurance policy Number
- Tax Identification Number (TIN)
- IRS PIN
- Other sensitive information
LWC began mailing notices to the affected individuals on October 17, 2024.
