NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Chilton Trust, a leading privately owned, independent wealth management firm and national trust bank, today announced that David Daniel, Former CEO & Chairman at Spencer Stuart, has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Mr. Daniel will serve alongside Chilton Trust’s other Directors, bringing deep subject matter expertise in governance and senior leadership advisement to the Board.

As former CEO and Chairman at Spencer Stuart, a preeminent leadership advisory firm, Mr. Daniel was responsible for growing the firm’s global footprint. He served the company for three decades in various leadership positions, first joining as a consultant in the Consumer Practice in 1994. During his tenure as CEO, Mr. Daniel and his leadership team advised clients in board and CEO searches, succession, board effectiveness and senior-level executive assessment. Following his tenure as CEO, Mr. Daniel served as Chair of the Board from 2018 to 2024, having been a board member since 2011. Since completing his final term as Chair, he remains an active partner at Spencer Stuart providing advice on leadership, talent development, and governance.

Presently, Mr. Daniel serves as a Director on the board of Point B, a Seattle-based technology consulting firm. Previously, he served on the advisory boards of the Yale School of Management, the Yale Center for Customer Insights, Alvin Ailey Dance Theater and St. Luke’s School in New Canaan, Connecticut. Mr. Daniel earned his master’s degree in public and private management from the Yale School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University.
