(Nasdaq: CDNA)- The Transplant Company™ — a leading precision medicine company focused on the discovery, development, and commercialization of clinically differentiated, high-value healthcare solutions for transplant patients and caregivers — today announced the appointment of Jing Huang Ph.D., in the newly created role of Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Officer. Huang will lead key data science initiatives that are a part of the Company’s long-term strategic growth plan. CareDx intends to share its long-term growth strategy during an Investor Day on October 15, 2024.
Huang is a recognized leader in data science and machine learning, bringing to CareDx a proven track record in developing new products and solutions to advance patient care in the biopharma and diagnostics markets. As Chief Data and AI Officer, Huang will be responsible for advancing CareDx’s efforts to integrate data science methods and AI into its customer facing products to enhance patient care, and its internal business operations to achieve improved efficiency and scalability.

Huang currently also serves as the President of the Bay Area Biotech-Pharma Statistical Workshop, is the Founding President of DahShu, and is the Chapter Representative for the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the American Statistical Association. Huang completed her Doctorate in Statistics from Stanford University. In 2023, Huang was elected as lifetime Fellow of the American Statistical Association to recognize her outstanding contributions to the medical research community in the field of statistics for numerous statistical innovations in genomic tests, and for exemplary leadership and community service to the profession.
