Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune: Part Two” Back in L.A. Theaters for Special Big Screen Return Engagement October 20 - 25

BURBANK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ “Dune: Part Two” is receiving a limited return engagement in select theaters across Los Angeles. Audiences eager to experience the film for the first time on the big screen, or to experience it again, will have the chance beginning Sunday, October 20 through Friday, October 25.

“Dune: Part Two,” based on the second half of Frank Herbert’s acclaimed novel, completes the cautionary tale of Paul Atreides’ swift and dangerous rise to power. Vengeance, prophecy, fervent followers and political manipulation ultimately lead Paul to abandon the formidable pull of love and his conscience to accept a fate he knows will destroy so much.

The general public and awards voters alike can see the film in several premium formats: on IMAX^® and Prime screens at AMC’s Burbank, Century City, Topanga and Universal City locations; in Dolby at the DGA; and in 70MM at the Aero Theatre. Following select screenings, Villeneuve will be joined by various “Dune: Part Two” collaborators, including producers Mary Parent and Tanya Lapointe, editor Joe Walker, re-recording mixer Ron Bartlett and composer Hans Zimmer.
