Chris Greendale, Henry Ford III Join Board of Directors of Mobi.AI

Industry leaders bring decades of sales, marketing and operations experience to help Mobi accelerate growth in AI solutions

BOSTON--()--Mobi.AI, a human collaborative AI company focused on delivering transformational customer experiences for B2B clients in travel, mobility, logistics, and financial services, today announced the addition of Henry Ford III, founder of Mid-River Partners and board member of Ford Motor Company, and Chris Greendale, venture investor and founder of Cloud Technology Partners, a Hewlett Packard Company, to its board of directors.

Ford brings expertise in operations and marketing from one of the world’s largest auto manufacturers while Greendale’s entrepreneurial history makes him ideal for advising on sales, marketing and GTM strategies when scaling enterprise companies. Ford and Greendale will assist in developing Mobi’s state-of-the-art AI solutions and advise on market opportunities.

“Our board plays a critical role in how we deliver state of the art human collaborative AI to some of the largest companies in the world,” said Mobi CEO Anna Jaffe. “We work B2B to have a big impact at scale, and Henry and Chris share this passion for making meaningful change. Henry leads and advises with empathy, understands the mechanics and decision making within large organizations and is committed to bridging humanity and technology. Chris has a deep expertise delivering transformational enterprise technology and is world class at sales and marketing. We’re excited and so lucky to have them on our team.”

Founded in the research labs at MIT in 2012, Mobi’s AI platform enhances the human ability to make better decisions by contextualizing data, analyzing situations, and suggesting optimized options to their client operators. With the addition of Ford and Greendale and their business backgrounds, Mobi plans to grow its enterprise technology solutions and continue optimizing travel planning and destination discovery for travelers across the globe. Ford and Greendale will help create the long-term vision, including scaling technology, expanding target industries and growing the Mobi team while prioritizing culture and best-in-class service to clients.

As a founder of Cambridge Technology Partners, Breakaway Solutions and then Cloud Technology Partners (CTP), Greendale has always focused his career on implementing the next wave of technology development. After three successful exits, Chris has focused on venture investing and advising AI and cybersecurity companies. Prior to founding CTP, Greendale served as the VP of Marketing for Oracle.

"Mobi is on a path to revolutionize how big companies leverage human collaborative AI to drive real top line growth, and their technology is far beyond anything I’ve seen in the AI space,” said Greendale. “I have been fortunate to have surfed every great IT wave since 1975, and AI is the next one. Mobi has a huge market, great products and a fantastic team, so it was a no-brainer. We are at a place where Mobi can create and deploy unique solutions in a matter of weeks. It’s very exciting.”

Ford previously held multiple roles at Ford Motor Company before his appointment to the board, including associate director of Ford’s Corporate Strategy skill team and global marketing manager for Ford Performance. He is an investor in and advises several early-stage companies.

“From the first conversation I had with Anna about Mobi, I had a feeling that they were going to build something that would change our world for the better. It’s rare to find a company like this in the noise,” said Ford. “Mobi leverages the best of AI with the best of human intelligence, and over the next few years I believe the Mobi team will continue to be pioneers in using collaborative AI to make our lives easier and more joyful - today in a travel context, and down the road, in how we deliver aid, respond to natural disasters, and build resilience into our critical infrastructure. I am grateful to play a role in this effort.”

Both Ford and Greendale were brought onto the board by fellow board member Marc Weiser, managing director and founder of RPM Ventures. Mobi’s board of directors advises on company strategy, operations, financing, legal, product and marketing plans. Other board members include Julie Maples, co-founder and general partner at FYRFLY Venture Partners and David Cremin, founder and managing partner at Frontier Venture Capital.

Mobi is quickly growing its board and its platform, leaning on industry leaders and AI experts to help transform travel experiences worldwide. To learn more about Mobi’s upcoming projects, please visit www.mobi.ai.
