Arch Painting Donates $10K to Local Teachers for School Supplies

20 Winners named in Arch Painting’s annual Teacher Giveaway

WOBURN, Mass.--()--Arch Painting, a leading provider of commercial and residential painting nationwide, today announced the winners of their $10K Teacher Giveaway. Twenty teachers who were chosen at random, have been selected as winners in the annual Arch Painting Teacher Giveaway. Each teacher will receive $500 toward school supplies for their classrooms.

Arch Painting serves customers nationwide and is aware that teachers all over the country have a common challenge - availability of funds to serve certain basic needs in the classroom. As Arch Painting continues to grow nationally, contributing to the needs of the local communities it serves will continue to be a priority for the company.

“Teachers go above and beyond in the important job of educating our children. Many teachers spend hundreds of dollars of their own money to supplement the needs of their classrooms each year - we want to help,” said Arch Painting President & CEO, Rich Kilgannon. “This is our annual way to invest in the communities we serve. Helping teachers and ensuring children have access to tools that might not otherwise be in the school budget is a small way Arch Painting can make a difference.”

“Having $500 extra dollars to spend on my classroom and my students makes such a difference. I am a geometry teacher at Maynard High School and I plan to purchase additional graphing calculators as well as visual tools for my classroom this year,” said Betty Makovoz, math teacher at Maynard High School in Maynard, Massachusetts. “Supplies like graphing calculators are expensive and being able to purchase extra for my students while not having to shoulder the financial burden myself means a lot.”
