JCPenney to Hire More Than 10,000 Associates this Holiday Season, Bringing More Holiday to Every Store

Retailer to host national, three-day hiring event at all store locations to fill more than 10,000 roles ahead of the 2024 holiday season

PLANO, Texas--()--JCPenney – the shopping destination for America’s diverse, hardworking families – is ramping up for the 2024 holiday season with plans to hire more than 10,000 seasonal associates across all locations nationwide. The company is hosting a national hiring event, Wednesday, Oct. 16 through Friday, Oct. 18, in stores and online, focused on hiring for truck teams in October and customer service roles specific to holiday in November.

The company is focused on providing top-tier customer service and staffing stores to meet holiday shopping demand, making it an exciting time to join the JCPenney family. Other incentives the company offers to stand out among other retailers, include:
