Bioscience Association Manitoba Marks Global Biotech Week with Official Proclamation at the Manitoba Legislature

WINNIPEG, Manitoba--()--The Bioscience Association Manitoba (BAM) successfully celebrated Global Biotech Week today with an official proclamation at the Manitoba Legislative Building. The event brought together 80 Manitoba students, industry leaders, and government officials, celebrating the province’s thriving biotech industry and its contributions to global innovation.

The formal proclamation of Global Biotech Week, presented by The Honourable Renee Cable Minister of Advanced Education and Training, recognizes the pivotal role biotechnology plays in addressing critical challenges, from healthcare innovations to sustainability solutions. Held annually in September, the week-long celebration shines a spotlight on the advancements of bioscience, inspiring the next generation of bioscience leaders.
