SHREVEPORT, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Morris & Dickson today announces that Vinu V. Pillai has joined the company as its chief compliance and regulatory officer. In this role, Pillai will have responsibility for Morris & Dickson’s overall compliance and regulatory functions including ethics management, risk management, suspicious order monitoring, Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) oversight, regulatory oversight and licensing, and he will report to Jody Hatcher, president and CEO.

Pillai previously served as the assistant general counsel at Alto Pharmacy based in San Francisco. Prior to that, he held multiple senior legal and compliance roles at a variety of healthcare companies, including Pear Therapeutics, DaVita and Cencora (formerly AmerisourceBergen). He earned both his undergraduate and law degrees at George Washington University.
