TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, the Roland Gossage Foundation is excited to announce the inaugural Stand Up for Heroes Canada fundraiser, taking place on November 8, 2024, at the John W.H. Bassett Theatre in Toronto. The event will feature an impressive lineup of talent, with confirmed musical performances from Paul Langlois and Gord Sinclair of The Tragically Hip; Colin MacDonald and John-Angus MacDonald of The Trews; comedians Shaun Majumder, Jean Paul and Max Ross; and dancers Luka & Jenalyn.
Marking five years of unwavering support for veterans transitioning to civilian life, the event promises to be a spectacular and safe live show. Proceeds from the event will go directly towards supporting the Roland Gossage Foundation's transformative programs and productions: Soldiers in the Arts, Soldiers in Tech, and Soldiers in Film. These initiatives empower veterans and their families by facilitating a smooth transition to civilian life through creative expression and professional development. Additionally, they provide veterans with opportunities to explore and pursue new careers in high-demand fields.
