CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The SBB Research Group Foundation recognizes three Chicago-area charities as the July 2024 finalists of its monthly grant program supporting impactful nonprofits (in alphabetical order):
- Chicago Chess Foundation (Chicago, IL) provides free chess activities to over 2,000 Chicago children annually. They focus on low-income communities to boost social-emotional development and sharpen critical thinking skills.
- My Density Matters (Hawthorn Woods, IL) empowers women to discover their breast density, learn their screening options, and insist on essential additional screening. Their vision is a world where breast density no longer hinders the early detection of breast cancer.
- WeGo Together for Kids (Wheaton, IL) enhances the health, safety, learning, and well-being of children and families in West Chicago, IL. Their focus areas are mental health, physical health, stable families, academic achievement, early childhood, community engagement, and emergency preparedness.
The Foundation encourages any 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to apply for a grant at sbbrg.org/apply-for-grant. Donations are awarded to different organizations monthly.
