This new luxury resort, situated at 1620 Gulf of Mexico Drive on Longboat Key, a scenic barrier island near Sarasota, Florida, is a testament to Moss' commitment to building exceptional large-scale developments in harmony with the community.
The 18-acre, 1.1 million-square-foot resort and residences include five six-story buildings. In the hotel there are 168 guest rooms, including 26 luxury oceanfront suites ranging from one-bedroom to four-bedroom options. Each suite offers separate living rooms, private terraces with stunning ocean views, and the signature St. Regis Butler Service. Additionally, St. Regis offers 69 private luxury residences ranging from 1,553 to 5,895 square feet.
Unicorp National Developments, Inc. developed the project and the design team consisted of 10SB (formerly SB Architects), Enea Landscape Architecture, RSM Design, Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA Miami), Marc-Michaels Interior Design, and Michael Saunders & Company represented the developer on the sales of the 69 condominium residences.

A dedicated team of skilled construction workers has been transforming the former Colony Beach & Tennis Resort site for the past 28 months. At the peak of construction, 800 workers were on-site, showcasing Moss' expertise in building the exceptional no matter how complex or detailed the designs.

The resort's amenities include an 800-foot private beach and 42 water features, including a family-friendly winding river and a 500,000-gallon saltwater lagoon, where guests can swim with tropical fish and interact with the resident Aldabra giant tortoises. The St. Regis Spa, a 20,000-square-foot oceanfront sanctuary, features a eucalyptus steam room, a snow shower that produces snow for up to three minutes, as well as hot and cold plunge pools. Additional amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness center and a children's club.
The St. Regis also offers 10 event spaces totaling 36,285 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. One ballroom can accommodate up to 600 people theater-style, making it perfect for large events and conferences. Seven bars and restaurants provide a variety of dining experiences.
