NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Advanced eClinical Training (ACT), a leader in online career certification training, has teamed up with the SEIU-UHW West & Joint Employer Education Fund (The Education Fund), an employer-paid benefit that provides education, training, and career advice services to union members across the healthcare sector. This partnership will expand access to short-term Allied Health training programs, helping eligible healthcare workers obtain the certifications needed for in-demand roles like Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, and Sterile Processing Technician.

Supporting Career Advancement in Allied Health
The Education Fund is supported by collectively bargained employer contributions and is designed to offer healthcare union members education and training services at no cost. Union members can access programs that help them transition into new roles, gain continuing education units (CEUs), or receive guidance on advancing their careers. With an emphasis on equity and inclusion, nearly 70% of The Education Fund’s learners are people of color, and 80% are women.
