POCONO MANOR, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, home to America’s Largest Indoor Waterparks, has begun a renovation totaling $8M at its Pocono Mountains resort, bringing two new signature culinary experiences to guests. MACS fast-casual macaroni and cheese restaurant and Redd’s Piano Bar and Lounge are scheduled to open later this year.
"2025 marks our Pocono Mountains resort’s 10th anniversary," said Don Pleau, General Manager, Kalahari Resort, Pocono Manor. “We have welcomed millions of guests over the past decade, and are committed to continuing to bring new and exciting experiences for many years to come.”
MACS, located in the resort lobby, will serve a variety of mac and cheeses, such as the such as the Jalapeno Popper MAC, Loaded Baked Potato MAC, and Buffalo Chicken MAC. The menu will also feature a variety of comfort dishes, crispy salads, and various desserts. A Wisconsin-based fast-casual chain started in 2013, MACS has not only grown to multiple locations throughout the Midwest but also opened its doors at the Kalahari Resorts’ Round Rock, Texas location in the winter of 2023. Due to its success there, Kalahari is opening MACS restaurants at not only the Pennsylvania location but also the Ohio resort.
Redd’s Piano Bar and Lounge will feature a speakeasy theme, including a “hidden door” between Double Cut Steak House and the new cocktail lounge. Guests at Redd’s will enjoy a full-service bar offering signature drinks such as the Cotton Candy Cocktail and Marshmallow Martini. Redd’s will also have live entertainment every night, with world-class musicians serenading patrons with sing-along classics and trendy new favorites.
“Kalahari’s commitment to culinary excellence is one of the many reasons our guests have beyond expectations experiences when visiting our resorts,” Pleau continued. “As always, all of our onsite dining options and resort amenities are not only available to our overnight resort guests, but also to the public.”
