Mixlab Enhances its Offering with a New Client Portal to Further Simplify Veterinary Prescription Management

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mixlab, the leading modern veterinary pharmacy, continues to redefine the pharmacy experience with the release of its new client portal, designed to increase efficiency for veterinary practices while improving the prescription and refill management process for animal owners. The launch of a client portal provides animal owners with 24/7 order management capabilities including real-time order tracking and self-service tools to streamline processes like refill approvals and auto-refill cadences, ultimately saving prescribers time and driving prescription compliance.

“With the evolving expectations of today’s digital consumers and our expansion into large animal capabilities, we have seen growing demand for a client prescription management portal. We’re excited to introduce a game-changing solution that continues to improve the overall user experience for clients as well as prescribers,” said Kevin Green, Head of Product at Mixlab.

The client portal is a complementary tool to Mixlab’s existing concierge, personalized experience. Once a prescription is submitted to Mixlab, animal owners receive a text message with a checkout link for their personalized cart. Now, owners have the ability to create an account where they can manage and track orders, see order history, request new refills, manage auto-refills, and access savings programs. These features seamlessly integrate with eMix, Mixlab’s proprietary prescription management platform built for veterinarians. When clients request a refill through the client portal, prescribers can approve, modify or decline that request in real-time in their eMix account.

Mixlab’s new client portal adds another layer to its integrated tech stack, which includes a proprietary pharmacy management system, an online prescription management platform, PIMS integration, and API-connected partner applications. By simplifying the pharmacy experience for all parties involved, Mixlab continues to solidify its positioning as the leading modern veterinary pharmacy, a trusted partner to veterinarians, and a delightful and reliable solution for animal owners.
