Ketchum University (MBKU), an independent, private, non-profit, accredited educational institution, is delighted to announce the appointment of Greta Vines-Douglas, MS, PA-C, as the new director of its School of Physician Assistant Studies (SPAS). With a rich background in physician assistant (PA) education and a steadfast commitment to community health, Vines-Douglas is poised to lead SPAS into a promising new chapter.
Vines-Douglas graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Southern California, followed by a PA certificate from Western University of Health Sciences and later earned her master’s degree in health science with an emphasis in education from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Her professional career spans over two decades, with significant roles in family medicine and pediatrics—primarily serving LatinX communities in California.

Vines-Douglas brings more than 13 years of experience in PA education to her new role, having served in various leadership roles at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science and Western University of Health Sciences. Her key interests include faculty development, increasing diversity in the PA profession and eliminating health care inequity. She has been recognized with awards for outstanding teaching and has actively contributed to scholarly activities through presentations and research projects focused on underserved communities.
