PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Saxton & Stump is pleased to announce that it has added highly experienced and decorated litigator Daniel J. Ferhat as the newest shareholder attorney in its growing Philadelphia office. Ferhat spent his career at the Philadelphia law firm White and Williams, litigating healthcare and medical professional liability for some of the city’s most significant health systems. Outside the courtroom, Ferhat also serves those same health systems as a trusted adviser, working proactively as a partner in risk management, peer review, and patient safety to prevent catastrophic lawsuits before they happen.
Ferhat is another high-profile hire for Saxton & Stump for its downtown Philadelphia office, including Mark Cedrone, Pauline Markey, Samuel Harrison, and Elizabeth Ray.

Ferhat is also a sought-after leader in the Philadelphia legal community. He’s a former president of the Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel, which earned him the group’s President’s Award in 2021. The Defense Research Institute in Chicago awarded Ferhat with its “Exceptional Performance Award” in 2021. Ferhat is a fellow at the Academy of Trial Advocacy and has been named to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list several times.
