This marks the company’s 27th park acquisition in the last 24 months, further solidifying its position as a leader in the outdoor hospitality industry. Lone Oak Campsites will officially become part of the Modern America Campgrounds portfolio on Dec. 1, 2024.
Modern America Campgrounds has recently introduced several innovative programs to enhance the camping experience for its valued seasonal members and transient guests. Seasonal pass members now enjoy the added benefit of accessing other Modern America Campgrounds free of charge on a limited basis, expanding their camping options and fostering a sense of community among campers.

There isn’t another park owner in the northeast that allows their seasonal member campers complimentary access to 27 parks. Additionally, the company has launched the Freedom Trail Pass, granting campers access to all Modern America Campgrounds with minimal restrictions during peak season. With the acquisition of Lone Oak Campsites, Modern America Campgrounds is set to expand its portfolio to 29 parks by the end of the year, with two additional acquisitions in the pipeline.
