Publication recognizes multiple treatment centers as a top provider in their state

FRANKLIN, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Acadia Healthcare Company, Inc. (NASDAQ: ACHC) is honored to share that seven of its facilities were named on Newsweek’s list of America’s Best Addiction Treatment Centers 2024. Many of these treatment centers have earned a spot on this prestigious list in the past as well.

The recognized addiction centers are located across five states:

  • Arizona: Sierra Tucson
  • California: Bayside Marin Treatment Center & Azure Acres Recovery Center
  • North Carolina: Wilmington Treatment Center
  • Pennsylvania: Pocono Mountain Recovery Center & Bradford Recovery Center
  • Tennessee: Mirror Lake

Particularly in light of National Recovery Month this September, Acadia is proud of these facilities – and all those across the Acadia network – which offer high-quality care to people in need of behavioral health and addiction services.

“It is an honor to have multiple Acadia treatment centers recognized by Newsweek on this distinguished list,” said Acadia Chief Executive Officer, Chris Hunter. “These facilities embody our purpose to Lead Care With Light by providing high-quality care and positive outcomes to thousands of patients every year. As the leading provider for high-acuity and complex needs patient populations, Acadia is focused on expanding access to best-in-class care by continually enhancing safety, quality and clinical excellence. This recognition underscores our ongoing commitment to all those we serve.”

Newsweek has partnered with Statista, a global market research and consumer data firm, for the fifth year in a row to provide readers with a comprehensive list of high-quality treatment facilities. The America’s Best Addiction Treatment Centers 2024 list recognizes 400 providers across 25 states as the top addiction treatment facilities in the country.

Rankings are based on accreditation data provided by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and information gathered from a national online reputation survey that was completed by more than 4,000 medical professionals and administrators in the field. Google reviews were also taken into consideration as a way of gathering information about patient experience.

The states that were included in this year’s list are those that have the highest number of addiction treatment centers, according to SAMHSA.
