PARSIPPANY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IBSA USA announced the addition of three new products to its IBSA Care line of dietary supplements: Ioselen™, FilmTec™ D3, and FilmTec™ B12. These offerings showcase IBSA’s commitment to enhancing health through select dietary supplements that utilize novel technology for absorption, tolerability, and user convenience. Earlier this year, the company launched Syrel™ (selenium + BioPerine®) and Thirodium™ (iodine), the first two products in the IBSA Care line.
“These new products embody our mission to deliver high-quality, science-backed solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of our customers,” said Michael Scully, Head of Commercial Operations, IBSA USA. “With these innovations, we continue to support overall wellness through easy-to-use delivery systems that ensure effective nutrient delivery and tolerability.”
Ioselen is a softgel capsule that combines selenium and iodine with BioPerine, a black pepper extract known to improve nutrient absorption. Each capsule contains 100 mcg of selenium, 100 mcg of iodine, and 5 mg of BioPerine. This formulation is beneficial for thyroid health, as BioPerine enhances selenium’s absorption into the body, ensuring the micronutrient is more effectively utilized for its role in activating and regulating thyroid hormones, thereby aiding thyroid function. Additionally, studies suggest that selenium plays a key role in regulating iodine levels within the body.1,2,3
FilmTec D3 is an oral dissolving film (ODF) strip that delivers 2,000 IU of vitamin D3, a crucial micronutrient for immune system support. Its immediate release formulation offers a convenient way to ensure adequate vitamin D intake, as there’s no water needed and each film is individually packed in ready-to-use, portable packaging. Vitamin D plays multiple roles in the body. It helps reduce inflammation, modulate cell growth, support neuromuscular and immune functions, and regulate glucose metabolism.4 Studies also show that maintaining appropriate serum D3 levels can help sustain normal thyroid function.5
FilmTec B12 provides 500 mcg of vitamin B12 in a convenient ODF-strip format, specifically designed to support energy metabolism by ensuring adequate levels of this essential nutrient. Vitamin B12 is also necessary for nerve tissue health, brain function, and production of red blood cells.6 Research has also found that a deficiency in vitamin B12 can correlate with elevated levels of anti-thyroid peroxidase (anti-TPO) and anti-thyroglobulin (anti-Tg) antibodies, further highlighting its importance for maintaining thyroid health.7
Like Syrel and Thirodium, these products are now available for purchase on Amazon and will be supported by healthcare provider promotion.
IBSA plans to add to its IBSA Care line of select dietary supplements by introducing more products early next year. More information about Ioselen, FilmTec D3, and FilmTec B12 as well as the IBSA Care line of dietary supplements can be found at www.IBSACareUS.com.
