NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Envision Healthcare, a leading national medical group, today announced the appointments of Derik Reynecke as Chief Integration Officer, Michelle Dean as Chief People Officer and Emily Ford as Chief Strategy Officer, effective September 3.

In a role that has been added to the executive team, Reynecke will support Envision’s continued work to enhance Envision’s operations and further position the medical group as a valued and reliable partner in the delivery of high-quality care. Dean will continue to build on Envision’s work to be a best place to practice and support the clinicians and clinical support teams making a difference in the lives of millions of patients. She steps into the role as Meg Lafave, who has served as Chief People and Culture Officer since March 2022, departs to focus on the next challenge in her career. Ford will continue to develop and deepen Envision’s value proposition for stakeholders and manage the organization’s centralized strategy and business development functions.

Reynecke has a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and particular expertise in finance and accounting, acquisition evaluation, post-merger integration, strategic planning and process improvement. He has more than 25 years of consulting, investment banking and operational experience with high-growth, middle-market and publicly traded companies.

About Derik Reynecke
Reynecke most recently served as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Caring Brands International Inc., leading the finance and accounting functions and providing strategic guidance on key operational initiatives. His previous roles included CFO of Care Advantage Inc. and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Merger & Acquisition Integration at Aveanna Healthcare. Reynecke started his career at Deloitte. He received his undergraduate degree in finance and accounting from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, and his Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He is a certified public accountant and chartered accountant.
About Michelle Dean
Prior to joining Envision, Dean served as the Chief Human Resources Officer of Artera Services, a provider of innovative infrastructure solutions. During her tenure, she led talent development and built the organization’s culture to support its mission to serve communities across America. Previously, Dean served as Vice President of Human Resources at Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. She also served in various leadership roles at HD Supply, including Vice President of Human Resources, and at Georgia Power Company. Dean earned her Bachelor of Science in marketing communications from Florida State University and her Master of Business Administration in organizational development leadership from the University of West Florida.

Ford has more than 20 years of brand, strategy and business development experience. She most recently served as Chief Strategy and Brand Officer of ChenMed, a primary care provider group focused on the senior population, where she led a focus on strategic discipline, brand education, user-centered design principles, organizational design and leadership. Ford’s previous roles include Chief Brand and Strategy Officer at Duly Health & Care and Chief of Staff and Executive Director of Marketing and Communications at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Ford earned her Bachelor of Science in exercise science from Grand Valley State University and her Master of Arts in sport management from Western Michigan University.
