Each mobile care team comprises a mobile care specialist (MCS) and an emergency room doctor or nurse practitioner who will participate in the visit virtually. The Mobile Care team is equipped to examine, diagnose, prescribe, and guide patients on next steps for a wide range of conditions, including abdominal pain, fatigue, asthma, breathing and heart disease problems, flu, food poisoning, COVID-19, diabetes, dehydration, pneumonia, lacerations, abrasions, allergies, back and neck pain, cardiac rehab, eye infections, stomach pain, swelling, high fevers, headaches, nausea, extreme heartburn and reflux, sinus and skin infections, and many others.
The service is currently available in Long Beach, Huntington Beach, Garden Grove, El Monte, Downey, Norwalk, Compton, Westminster, Whittier, Lynwood, Pico Rivera, Bellflower, Lakewood, Cerritos, Fountain Valley, Paramount, Gardena, Artesia, Santa Fe Springs, Signal Hill, Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, and surrounding areas. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Patients outside the service area or needing assistance outside regular hours can call in advance to book an appointment subject to availability.
Falck Mobile Care accepts Medicare, Scan Health Plan, and other insurance plans, with costs varying depending on the patient’s insurance coverage.
