LOS ANGELES--()--The political action committee Save Our Schools launched today a non-partisan organization to help educate voters on the need to refocus California classrooms with syllabi that prepares its students with practical, real-life skill sets such as civics, financial literacy and entrepreneurship.

The Save Our Schools PAC will connect with teachers, administrators, parents and other registered voters in key Southern California school districts on the need to elect school boards that are committed to measurable classroom standards that will focus back on students’ future success rather than political or religious doctrines.

“Our focus is on the California kids so they can compete once again on a local, national and global level,” says Stephen J. Cloobeck, who chairs the PAC and is the founder and former CEO and Chairman of Diamond Resorts International. “The way back to a livable and affordable California all starts within the classroom. We must support the teachers, administrators and parents who want to re-implement measurable standards that give their students and children a leg-up in finding stable jobs and achieving success in whatever life holds for them. This has always been the California Dream, and it needs to be put back into focus now more than ever.”

The Save Our Schools PAC also encourages parental involvement to help ensure children are getting the basics within the classroom and are volunteering in their communities to provide a full-circle experience both at school and in the home. The campaign will connect with more than 300,000 voters across three counties throughout Southern California including Capistrano, Chino Valley, Murrieta Valley, Orange, and the Temecula Valley Unified School Districts.

Voter contact will occur leading up to the November 2024 election via direct mail and highly targeted digital campaigns that will motivate and educate voters.
