GREENSBORO, N.C.--()--Whether back to school means packing lunches and having snacks ready or needing quick and easy meal solutions due to a busy routine, The Fresh Market, Inc. has thought of everything as the seasons begin to change and we start to say goodbye to summer. From nutritious grab-and-go options to delicious, ready-to-cook meals, The Fresh Market is dedicated to helping families transition smoothly into the new school year.

Simplifying Back to School

Staying energized throughout the day earns an A+ when everyone has what they need for breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner. The Fresh Market is making shopping for Back-to-School essentials a breeze with three-day deals on select categories 8/23 to 8/25 and 9/6 to 9/8. Guests will be guided through the grocery aisles to find energy bars to start the day, a healthy lunch box and after school snacks, juices, pantry staples, and more.

Starting this month, The Fresh Market now accepts Electronic Benefits Transfer for Supplemental Nutrition and Assistance Program (EBT SNAP) online for same-day delivery [and/or pickup] via shop.thefreshmarket.com and through The Fresh Market storefront on Instacart. With this program, SNAP participants can now use their benefits to purchase fresh food and pantry staples online from The Fresh Market’s 160 locations.

This launch follows the United States Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service’s most recent approval of The Fresh Market to accept SNAP online via Instacart. With transportation often serving as a barrier to the grocery store, The Fresh Market and Instacart hope to make accessing food easier for customers by accepting EBT SNAP benefits online.

Let’s Start with Breakfast

Since busy schedules can interfere with important parts of the morning routine, like breakfast, The Fresh Market recently introduced a grab and go breakfast station near the deli area in all 160 stores. Available 8 – 10:30am daily, guests can choose from an assortment of hot croissant sandwiches and cool parfait cups, along with sweet pastries and its own Farmhouse Egg Bake— A thin potato crust filled with eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, bacon, cheddar cheese, onions, and green peppers. An all-in-one breakfast that is hand-held or fork friendly. Guests can enjoy their breakfast selections in the store's café seating area or take them to go for a delicious and convenient start to their day.

Breaking New Grounds

Known for its delicious own brand coffees, The Fresh Market is debuting a new coffee collection that’s even more flavorful than before. Curated from the highest quality beans, and unveiling more than 30 selections, guests will be able to find their favorites and discover new ones to love of this unsurpassed quality, expertly curated, ethically sourced coffee whose beans can be traced to their source. Shoppers are invited to sample the new coffee during two-hour tasting events (10am-12pm) held on Saturdays: August 24 and 31 and September 7 and 14. With breakfast and coffee checked off the list, it’s time to move on to meal planning.

Dinner Done Right

Back to school is not just for school age children returning to busy routines, it can mean fewer seats at the table as kids head to college too. If the table is set for the whole family or dinner for two, The Fresh Market features easy weeknight meal selections every day. Like, gourmet hatch chili burgers and wild salmon burgers can easily be made into sliders for quick bites, dinner deals with The Fresh Markets’ New Hot & Fresh Pizza and guest favorites, Little Big Meal (LBM). Prepped and ready to cook dinner for four people at only $25, the popular Little Big Meals offers a new meal every Wednesday, so dinner is never boring and is conveniently located in one place for a quick add to the basket. And for Curbside pickup during the month of September, The Fresh Market is encouraging shoppers to “Try an LBM on Us” when spending $80 on Curbside Pickup with code TFMLBM24. Shoppers will be able to add a Little Big Meal to their order and curbside pickup fees will be eliminated. Finally, to celebrate summer’s last long weekend, The Fresh Market is offering free delivery from August 28 – September 2 on shop.thefreshmarket.com with code LABORDAY2024.

For more back to school inspiration, The Fresh Market’s Shoppable Livestream will feature easy meals, delicious after-school snacks and a chance to win $100 gift card while livestreaming the show on Thursday, August 22 at 12pmET.
