DETROIT--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Leading middle-market private equity firm Huron Capital (“Huron”) announced today that its commercial roofing and exterior facility services platform, Rampart Exterior Services (“Rampart”), completed its first acquisition with the closing of Independent Roofing Systems, Inc. (“Independent”). Independent is headquartered in central Mississippi and serves critical industries including education, government, industrial, and other commercial customers.
Founded in 1980, Independent has more than 40 years of history providing roofing services across various roofing types and serves as a strong cornerstone acquisition for the Rampart platform. Independent will continue to be run day-to-day by the existing leaders, Joe Naquin, Larry Montpelier, and Melissa Naquin, with operational and strategic support from Rampart CEO Gabe Mesanza.
