Litigation Funding Expert Max Doyle Tapped to Lead CAMG’s Mass Tort Investors’ Program

Legal finance specialist Doyle joins firm as new Chief Strategy Officer

LOS ANGELES--()--Consumer Attorney Marketing Group (CAMG), a full-service advertising, marketing and public relations agency serving lawyers and law firms, today announced the addition of Max Doyle as the company’s new Chief Strategy Officer, bringing more than 25 years of expertise in fund management, structured credit markets, and litigation funding.

In his new role, Doyle will lead CAMG Capital Connect, a mass tort investment program designed to connect litigation funders with multidistrict litigation (MDL) leadership law firms while giving the funder flexibility to control how their capital is deployed across various stages of litigations. The program leverages the company’s 15 years of experience, primary source data, and strong relationships with leading firms to match investors with key litigation leaders.

Funders who participate in CAMG Capital Connect benefit from comprehensive financial modeling built on the agency’s proprietary data, ethically compliant case origination, and alignment with leading handling firms, ensuring all aspects of the investment and reporting process are strategically sound, transparent, and ethical.

Doyle will manage and expand the program's services by leveraging his expertise in litigation funding. He will drive innovation within the program and align investors with suitable torts and handling law firms that meet their investment criteria.

"We sought out a leader with deep experience in litigation financing to propel our program forward. Max brings not only a wealth of expertise in financial innovation and management but also a strong ability to build relationships that resonate with investors globally,” said CAMG CEO and founding partner Steve Nober. “We're confident that Max's vision and experience will guide us in scaling our efforts and driving impactful results for our clients and partners around the world."

Prior to joining CAMG, Doyle served as the CEO of LexShares, a New York City-based litigation funding lender, where he was appointed by private equity owners to address the firm’s future and strategic development whilst originating $50 million in litigation finance investments within six months.

“I am excited to lead this innovative investor program to help bridge the gap between litigation funders and the leadership of the top law firms,” said Doyle. “My goal is to utilize my experience and understanding of litigation funding and knowledge of what investors are looking for to help drive success for all stakeholders involved.”

Doyle’s professional journey includes a significant tenure in North America. Moving to Toronto in 2012, he joined a Canadian Family Office, where he played a pivotal role in assisting owners in selling their family business and establishing a family office. Over the years, Doyle has demonstrated exceptional leadership in various high-profile roles, including as the Head of North America at Augusta Ventures; the Head of Family Office at Catalyst Capital Family Office; and the Chief Investment Officer at GLH Family Office, all located in Toronto, Canada.

Doyle’s extensive experience also spans multiple high-stakes roles, including director positions at Prime Focus Management and Claret Multi Family Office in Dublin, where he managed distressed investment programs and multi-asset class investments

Born and educated in Dublin, Ireland, Doyle holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and a Master of Business Studies (M.B.S) from University College Dublin. His master's thesis, "A Model for Corporate Bankruptcy Prediction," reflects his deep understanding of financial dynamics.
