LIBERTYVILLE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Fertilizer Institute (TFI) has awarded the third certification under its Certified Biostimulant Program to Valent BioSciences for its Transit® 500 biostimulant. The newly launched Certified Biostimulant Program recognizes biostimulant products that have undergone positive reviews of efficacy data, composition, research, safety, and testing methods by TFI and third-party reviewers to confirm adherence to the United States Biostimulant Industry Guidelines.

Transit 500 is a liquid biostimulant that improves tolerance to and recovery from abiotic stress, enhances fertilizer efficiencies, and increases nutrient uptake, all of which aid the plant’s ability to improve root and shoot growth. As a biostimulant certified under the Biostimulant Certification Program, Transit 500 will receive a distinctive label to indicate conformance with the outlined standards.
