MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AVP announces upcoming television rights deals for the Men’s & Women’s Finals of The AVP Manhattan Beach Open on Sunday, August 18 on ION and The AVP Chicago Open on Sunday, September 1 on The CW Network.
The AVP is America's only national beach volleyball league. The AVP Manhattan Beach Open and AVP Chicago Open are part of the AVP Heritage Series. Making appearances in Manhattan Beach and Chicago include the four US women who competed in the Paris Olympics and the four men's US Olympians.
“We're thrilled to be back in the States and competing in the AVP again," said Olympic teammates Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss. "The AVP launched our careers, and having national television coverage of the prestigious AVP Manhattan Beach Open and the fan-favorite AVP Chicago Open will bring live viewership that continues the momentum from the Paris Games and helps grow the fan base in America.”
