HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Schouest, Bamdas, Soshea, BenMaier & Eastham PLLC (SBSB Eastham) is expanding in Texas. The firm announced today it is opening a new office in Dallas and welcoming six new partners to lead its launch.
The office will allow the firm to grow its already robust team of litigators and expand its depth of services in and around North Texas.
“Dallas is an important city for our firm. We have a number of clients in the area, so there has always been a desire to have a presence there,” said SBSB Eastham Managing Partner John Schouest. “Given the amount of work we already do in North Texas, this is a prime opportunity to move forward and turn that goal into a reality.”

The new Dallas office becomes SBSB Eastham’s third office in Texas and its seventh nationally.
The Dallas team will be led by veteran Dallas trial attorney Tom Jacks. Mr. Jacks has extensive experience representing corporations in high-stakes litigation. He also handles catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death claims, construction defect disputes, product liability recalls and intellectual property infringement, and his caseload ranges from oilfield accidents and premises liability cases to interstate transportation issues and construction negligence.
“I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with this amazing team of lawyers,” said Mr. Jacks. “I appreciate the firm’s commitment to establishing and growing its presence in North Texas and look forward to being an integral part of its expansion.”
Mr. Jacks will be joined by partners Trevor Brown, David Henderson, Reid Hudgins, Pryce Tucker and Rasha Zeyadeh.
Mr. Brown is a seasoned litigator who focuses his practice on defending contractors and design professionals, including those who build homes, schools, and business developments across Texas, from defect and personal injury claims. He also tries personal injury cases, commercial litigation matters, and business disputes.
Mr. Henderson is a construction and design defect litigator whose work includes defending contractors and subcontractors against construction defects, negligence, breach of contract, breach of warranty, and defense and indemnity claims. He also has handled professional liability litigation for design and engineering professionals, which gives him a unique understanding of design and construction processes and risk management methods.
Mr. Hudgins is an experienced trial attorney who represents clients in both state and federal court. He handles product liability litigation, personal injury defense, construction defect defense, trucking and transportation, and multidistrict litigation.
Mr. Tucker focuses on defending against wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury and property damage claims. His casework ranges from commercial vehicle crashes and heavy equipment mishaps to oilfield accidents and environmental contamination claims. Mr. Tucker also has more than two decades of experience handling products liability cases.
Ms. Zeyadeh, who will head the Dallas office’s labor and employment practice, is an experienced litigator who advises and defends employers and employees on all aspects of labor and employment law, including breach of contract, discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour. She also counsels clients on preventative strategies and compliance matters, and conducts internal investigations. In addition to her labor and employment work, Ms. Zeyadeh handles personal injury, premises liability, products liability, transportation, and insurance defense cases.
