HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) Houston is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its new clubhouse, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 18, 2024. This event will celebrate the chapter's growth and ongoing commitment to fostering entrepreneurship in Greater Houston.
“EO Houston's new clubhouse is designed to unlock the full potential of entrepreneurs by providing a private, professional space for meetings, forums, and co-working,” says EO Houston president Jody Lee. “Unlike other venues, our clubhouse offers members a dedicated environment to collaborate and innovate. It even served as a crucial co-working space during recent power outages, ensuring our members could continue their work without interruption.”
As the 3rd largest EO chapter in the United States and the 7th largest globally, EO Houston currently has 227 members and is continually expanding. Founded in 1993, EO Houston is part of a prestigious nonprofit organization known as the world's most influential entrepreneurial community, with over 19,000 members worldwide across 223 chapters in 78 countries. Globally, EO members report median sales of $4.1 million and employ over 5.2 million people across diverse industries, including AI, healthcare, finance, and technology.
EO Houston members include owners of notable local businesses such as BLVD Dentistry, Common Bond, Dish Society, Hennessey Performance, Positive Recovery Centers, Sky High for Kids, Southwestern National Bank, SynergenX Clinics, and Visible Changes. Collectively, these companies employ approximately 10,000 individuals and contribute significantly to the local economy and community.
The clubhouse is open to visiting global EO members in Houston for a nominal fee. In addition, numerous learning opportunities are available to members at the clubhouse, including Cyber Resilience for Entrepreneurs, Building a Great Company Culture, and Entrepreneur Operating System (EOS). Our events often include guest speakers and key executives, providing ample networking opportunities beyond our membership, fostering a broader entrepreneurial community and facilitating valuable connections.
The EO clubhouse recently hosted the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA), highlighting EO Houston's commitment to supporting young entrepreneurs. GSEA participants and Accelerator members are regularly invited to collaborate and mentor with our members, showcasing our dedication to nurturing the next generation of business leaders.
EO Houston actively promotes its accelerators, underscoring our commitment to supporting growth companies. As part of Houston's top entrepreneurial ecosystem, EO Houston helps entrepreneurs continue their learning journey.
