Klick Health Crowned Clio Health’s ‘Independent Agency of the Year’ for Second Year in a Row

As most-awarded agency, Klick takes home 44 total trophies, including Grand in Film Craft

NEW YORK & TORONTO--()--Clio Health named Klick Health ‘Independent Agency of the Year’ for the second consecutive year at last week’s awards ceremony. Klick won a total of 44 trophies, including the Grand Clio in Film Craft, 11 Golds, 15 Silvers, and 17 Bronzes. The agency’s Vice President of Business Affairs, Creative Production, Tamika Knight was also honored as a 2024 Clio Health Innovator.

“This is our best showing yet at Clio Health, and to be honored with a Grand for our craft again this year is remarkable,” said Klick Health Chief Creative Officer Rich Levy. “We want to thank our clients, partners, and the many brilliant Klicksters who worked incredibly hard to bring this diverse, outstanding body of work to life.”

“Once again, Klick Health has proven that well-crafted storytelling and bold creative ideas are worth investing in,” said Emily Seal, Executive Director, Clio Health. “We’re always inspired by the entries this team submits to our program and we’re proud to be a champion of the work that the jury awarded this year.”

Among Klick’s biggest wins were ‘47,’ ‘American Cancer Story,’ and ‘Voice 2 Diabetes.’

Inspired by the journey of a boy with Down syndrome, Klick created the short film '47' for Café Joyeux, a global family of cafe-restaurants that hires and trains people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Co-created with Zombie Studio, Canja Audio Culture, and the Down syndrome community, it was awarded the Grand in Film Craft, five Gold (including two for Film Craft and one for Design Craft), five Silver, and three Bronze Clios.

Klick also won five Gold (two in Film Craft), six Silver, and two Bronze Clios for the film ‘American Cancer Story,’ which it created for Change the Ref, an organization that advocates for gun control with the mission to end mass shootings. The emotional and shocking coming-of-age short was co-written and directed by ‘Narcos’/‘RoboCop’ filmmaker José Padilha and produced by Taking Over Films, with VFX by Pierre Buffin and an original score by Maroon 5's James Valentine.

Klick’s ‘Voice 2 Diabetes’ was awarded six trophies last week, including the Gold in Emerging Technology, two Silvers, and three Bronzes. The beta smartphone app turns voice samples into an equitable life-saving tool by using artificial intelligence to detect Type 2 diabetes through subtle vocal changes imperceptible to the human ear. ‘Voice 2 Diabetes’ is also shortlisted for an Innovation Lion at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
