Brightwell Named ACG’s 40 Fastest-Growing Companies in Georgia

Companies named are judged on revenue, employee growth, and individual interviews.

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Brightwell, an Atlanta-based global payments technology company, announced today that it has been recognized as a 2024 Fast 40 company. Hosted by the Atlanta Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Georgia’s Fast 40 honors the top fastest-growing middle market companies in the state.

Under the leadership of CEO Larry Hipp, Brightwell has experienced rapid expansion in recent years, introducing three new innovative products: Latitude, a business to consumer (B2C) global digital refunds and payout solution; ReadyRemit, a consumer to consumer (C2C) digital remittance solution for financial institutions; and Arden, a fraud monitoring platform. These additions have significantly boosted revenue and created new employment opportunities. To support this growth, Brightwell recently acqui-hired 23 full-time professionals, enhancing its high-tech talent pool.

"Standing out as a growing company in Georgia’s thriving economy is challenging, but our focus on delivering top-notch payment solutions has driven our tremendous growth. Being named to the Fast 40 is a testament to our team's hard work and will continue to fuel our future," said Hipp.

The Fast 40 companies were judged based on verifiable revenue and employment growth, validated by independent accounting firm, Cherry Bekaert LLP. The ACG committee also conducted interviews with qualified applicants to select the winners.

“These 40+ companies represent almost 7,500 new jobs and over 2.3 billion dollars in revenue growth over the last three years,” said Brooks Morris, Chair of the Georgia Fast 40 Awards and Principal with Cresa. “In speaking with many of the CEOs, the supportive business environment and accessibility of capital are contributors to growth. By far, the biggest challenge is the tightness of the labor market even though our honorees employ almost 17,000 people. We are proud to honor these companies and look forward to learning more insights online and at the celebration in June.”

ACG Atlanta will present the awards and full rankings at the 2024 Georgia Fast 40 Celebration at Flourish Atlanta on June 27, 2024.
