BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Every summer, exciting events and services are available at all Church of the Highlands locations across Alabama and into Georgia. Across 25 campuses, Highlands is hosting monthly services on the first Wednesday night of each month with celebratory Cokes and ice cream. There will also be small groups hosted for all walks of life, and summer conferences for a variety of ages.
Additionally, the Summer Small Group semester launched on June 2 where group leaders can lead a small group with any topic or activity they enjoy. This short 6-week group semester will wrap up with Serve Day, an annual church wide event for everyone to come together and make a difference in their communities.
In addition to Small Groups and Serve Day, throughout the summer, Highlands will host their Summer Blast Kids Conference, June 24 - 26, for all elementary-aged children, and their annual student conference, MOTION Conference, on July 25 - 27, at the Legacy Arena at the BJCC in downtown Birmingham. Thousands of middle school, high school, and college-aged students from across the country will come to Birmingham to learn from pastors and speakers during the conference in between Summer Blast and Motion Conference.
