A skilled builder and accomplished senior executive, Mr. Thrasher will be based in Miami and drive operational excellence, leveraging his extensive regional experience and market insight to connect with and serve clients, execute strategy, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality projects. He will be responsible for the deployment of Suffolk’s industry-leading technologies, processes and data to increase jobsite efficiencies, enhance safety, and provide heightened levels of client service in key industry sectors, including commercial, hospitality, public, transportation and aviation.

Mr. Thrasher joins Suffolk with more than 30 years of experience, including several years at Gilbane, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of its Florida business unit. He is a skilled builder widely recognized for his leadership, dedication to clients, and passion for tailoring unique strategies for increasing efficiency and productivity on projects. His portfolio includes significant work across residential, hospitality, education and healthcare. He will leverage his command of the market and Suffolk’s technology and resources to manage operations and attract exceptional and diverse talent as the team continues to expand to accommodate rapid growth in the region.
With more than a decade of experience in architecture and construction, Ms. Rao has worked in design, project management and business development, and has managed complex projects in the higher education, K-12 and healthcare sectors. Her diverse blend of experience has given her the ability to better understand the needs of clients and provide solutions from project inception to completion in order to achieve project success. Ms. Rao will ensure the seamless integration of Suffolk’s innovation and data in the business development process and educating potential clients on the numerous benefits of technology and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
