MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The International Federation of Air Line Pilots’ Associations (IFALPA) is closely monitoring the developments related to the tragic incident involving Singapore Airlines Flight SQ-321, which was operating from London Heathrow to Singapore.
We extend our deepest condolences to the loved ones of the passenger whose life was lost. Our thoughts are also with the friends and families of the passengers and crew members that were onboard the Boeing 777-300 aircraft.
IFALPA stresses the need to avoid speculation as to what happened in the course of these events. Such Investigation should strictly follow the provisions laid out in ICAO Annex 13.
The Federation has reached out to the Air Line Pilots’ Association of Singapore and will be at the disposal of the relevant Accident Investigation Agencies to help gather any pertinent information.
